June 12th Update

This morning the sun is out and it appears to be calm today.  The last few days have been wet and windy.  The report is KING salmon!!  We have had days when we have not been able to get down to the open ocean, but when conditions allow us to, guests are getting Kings quickly.  80 - 100 depth on the down rigger.  Does not seem to matter what you use, we are primarily using spoons and hooches behind a flasher.  39” King yesterday came in!!  Saw our first Chum, Pink and Silver on the dock this past week.

140lb was the biggest so far this week.  I would not say halibut has been red hot.  Having to search for them and we are seeing lots of smaller halibut and releasing them.  Looking for halibut to improve this next week.
