Fall is here, we are expecting 1” to 2” of rain today.  The grass on the hills is turning yellow, and I have seen some leaves falling around the boardwalk in Elfin Cove.  The majority of Coho/Silvers caught this past week were at Three Hill and Gaff Rock.  They are big!  Really nice looking fish!  Same thing as in past years is happening, very slow until the bite comes on.  Some have been caught deep at 80’ but most are being caught near the surface.

Our biggest halibut this week was 67 lbs.  We are seeing a very slow halibut bite right now.  I would expect this to continue, normally halibut slow down towards the end of August.

Weather has changed our nice warm days we were loving are gone.  We have had rain, and lots of it.  One day it rained over 2 inches.  Water falls were all full coming off the mountain.
